College Freshman Profiles

Each year, most colleges publish a "Freshman Profile". This profile reveals facts about the current Freshman class that was admitted to the college or university for the current fall session. The profile gives high school students a good idea on how competitive the average admitted applicant was and can help the high school student compare their current progress and make adjustments in their planning process.  The Freshman Profile may differ slightly due to the pool of applicants each year, however the trend is that colleges/universities are receiving more competitive applicants, making admissions decisions tougher.  For example, University of Georgia has reported record numbers for the past few years in the average number of Advanced Placement courses taken, test scores and GPA.  Simply GOOGLE the words "freshman profile" and the college you want to seek and you find tons of info!
