How Do I Register?

Create a student account at www.collegeboard.org and select the date and location you wish to test.

Preparing for the SAT-There are a variety of ways to ensure you are prepared for the SAT. Remember that most students take the SAT more than once. This allows for growth in between, with the right preparation!

The College Board offers test prep services free of charge when you register for the SAT through KHAN Academy.

You can also purchase prep books that help you study in addition to browsing the internet for free test prep materials.

Performing well in your rigorous coursework is important too!

Georgia Virtual School (GVS) is an online resource that offers a SAT Prep course for .5 credit.  Your school schedule may allow you to build this course in to your daily schedule, but know that your grade will count toward your overall G.P.A. It is recommended that only self motivated, highly organized students participate in GVS courses. You may opt to take the course outside of your daily schedule, but the cost of the course will be the student's responsibility. Check out the availability at www.gavirtualschool.org. Please check with your School Counselor prior to registering for this course.
