You can learn about college visits and important things to consider as you potentially plan for college. You can keep up to date with your overall GPA and your HOPE eligibility to ensure you are in the right courses and earning the grades you need to be scholarship eligible in Georgia. You can also learn about other options such as Associate Degrees at Technical colleges that allow you to train for a high paying career with little to no student debt. Learning about military options, from academies to ROTC programs that will help pay for college and meet with recruiters who can answer questions about options.
Now is also a good time to think about diving deep in career clusters that match up with your aptitudes and interests. Explore these areas in high school Pathways, Dual Enrollment, Work Based Learning, job shadowing and anywhere you can find hands on experience. While the PEACH STATE TOUR is primarily designed for seniors considering applying to the participating schools, juniors are also welcome to attend. This could be beneficial in helping you understand how these four universities admit students, learn requirements and timelines for applications, and decide if the programs they offer have what you need to prepare for your career.
