Rising Seniors, Class of 2024!
While you are on a bit of summer break to regroup and rest, it is also a great time to start organizing a scholarship calendar. You can do this electronically or use an old school 3-ring binder, with a file for each month. Store your due dates and any supporting documentation you may need in the monthly files. Set reminders on your phone so you don't miss deadlines. Many scholarships are open now or at the very beginning of the school year, and you need to work on them year round during your Senior year. If you wait until April to decide you need some college $, you have missed out on tons of opportunities! Continue to check your school email frequently, as in at least 2x per week, as all scholarship info is pushed out through your school email.
