Georgia PROBE Fair

9/17/2020

Ready to view what colleges really have to offer? Not sure what majors are available or what the costs are to attend?   I have exciting news!!  The PROBE Fair is coming in October & November and will be presented as a full on-line experience this year!

The PROBE Fair has over 100 participating colleges, most of them in-state. The format this year will be held the first week of October and November so you will have lots of opportunities to sign up and view different sessions from admissions reps at whatever colleges you are interested in learning more about. The format will be on ZOOM.

This format offers you 6 days to explore the colleges you want, ask questions, and sign up for additional information, such as how to apply and find out what scholarships are available. IN ADDITION (can you tell I am really excited about this?!?) There will be reps from AMAZING groups such as:

COLLEGE ESSAY GUY: how to write that admission essay
UGA:  Inclusion & Diversity
CAMPUS VISITS: Making the most of it!
FINANCIAL AID!!
TESTING requirements: TO TEST OR NOT TO TEST (this is huge right now)
ENROLLING in classes

Below is the website. You MUST register for sessions and the details and process is on the website.

Please explore this site and register, even if you are in 9th grade. It is never too early to begin gathering knowledge about your options. I wish we could have the traditional format in which these reps visit the high school and you have a designated time to walk around and explore, but this format is going to be great! Plus, your family can participate in this too!
