USG waived test requirements for admissions!

BREAKING NEWS JUST IN!!! The University System of Georgia announced this afternoon that due to the stress of ACT/SAT cancellations and the uncertainty of scheduling future tests, test score requirements for admission will be waived for the Spring, Summer and Fall of 2021! However, before you do your happy dance, proceed with caution. Admissions will adjust GPA requirements and possibly other admissions criteria. I would strongly advise that if you are scheduled to take a test, go ahead and take it. You may need it to submit to the University later on, after you are admitted. You will still need it for Zell Miller eligibility. You may need it to apply to out of state schools or for certain scholarships. Please read the formal statement

For those of you that attended today's PEACHSTATE Tour, this is the opposite of what you heard this morning, but again, it was just announced this afternoon. I know it may feel like stressful and confusing times, BUT, you have tons of support! Don't hesitate to reach out to me or your School Counselor if you have questions. Now, go do your happy dance!
